Obituary for Russell Geard Guagliardi

Guagliardi, Russell Geard "Russ," age 61, of Mastic Beach, NY, passed away unexpectedly,

Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He graduated high school in 1972 from Center Moriches High School

in Center Moriches, NY.

He was born on November 1, 1959 in Queens, NY to James and Carol Guagliardi. Russ was a

devoted family man who dedicated his life to taking care of the people he loved. His infectious

laugh and witty sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him. He was a gentle giant who

was often compared to a bull in a china shop. He will always be remembered by his signature

mustache.

Russ is survived by his loving wife, Edna, of almost 24 years, and his father James Guagliardi and

three sisters Jamie Saruubi and husband Guy, Debbie Hulse and husband Dave, and Judy

Bauernfeind and husband Jerry. He also had many kids that he loved dearly; Vinny Mazzola and

wife Brenda, Danielle Miller and significant other Vincent Cacciato, Chantel Purcell, RJ

Guagliardi and significant other Gracey Justice, Carolann Guagliardi, and John Simmons. He also

had five grandkids: Cordelia Cacciato, Connor Miller, Baby Vinny, Horace Smith, and Isaiah

Smith.
