Michelle J. Braun of Rockaway Park passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53 on November 2, 2026. She was born in Bethpage on August 24, 1973. She was the eldest child of the "Braun Bunch". She was a former General Douglas MacArthur High School graduate class of 1992. In her free time, she enjoyed spending it with family, friends, hanging out at the beach or by the pool. She loved to reminisce about her childhood memories. Some of the most valued and notable traits she possessed was her protective instincts, her selfless heart that would put others before herself, and her love for a good laugh. She is survived by her mother Jeanne, her siblings Julie, Eddie, Billy, Laura, and Steven. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Braun and her sister, Pamela Braun. A proud aunt to 12 nieces and nephews with a 13th on the way. Though her passing leaves a profound absence, she brought a light so great to this world that, even after she was gone, that light remains. A service will be held to honor and celebrate her life. Family and friends are welcome to support the family, and share fond memories and stories of our beloved Michelle.
