On Monday, November 30, 2020, John Niemczycki, Jean Pierre, loving husband, father of two

children, and grandfather of seven grandchildren, passed away, surrounded by his family, at the

age of 70.

His life was the epitome of the American Dream. John was born in France on August 12, 1950 to

John Niemczycki and Suzanne Dojs. He immigrated to the United States of America with his

parents at the age of eight and grew up in Syosset, New York living at numerous Gold Coast

estates where his parents worked. On August 26, 1979, he married his sweetheart Virginia

Bataller. Together they raised two daughters, Tanya and Brigitte in St. James. In the late 1980s,

he founded Control Lawn Care, where he diagnosed and treated residential and commercial

lawns. John had a passion for horticulture, fishing, the Mets and the Jets. His grandchildren were

the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife Virginia, his two children Tanya (Michael) and Brigitte (Jay) and his

seven grandchildren Alissa, Laila, Jaida, Mikaila, Eliana, Lily and Tatiana. He is also survived

by his sister Suzy (Tim), and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday,

December 4, 2020 at St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Road, St. James, New York

from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. For those not able to attend, visitation will be streamed on Zoom. The
