Sloane, Janice of East Northport passed suddenly on November 21st, 2021. Janice started in the

Collating Department at Newsday, and eventually moved to the Newsprint Department in the Pressroom,

where she was the first female employee.

Beloved daughter of Ann and the late Arthur. Loving sister of Kathy (Larry) the late Denise (Joe)

Laura (Gary) and of Bill (Carol). She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and 5 great nieces

and nephews.

Memorial viewing Saturday, December 11th, 2021 at 11am with a service at noon at:
