Edward J. Braun of Coram and formerly of Wantagh passed away unfortunately at the age of 69 on December 22, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn on August 26,1953. He spent many years of his career as a computer technician. He was truly gifted as an autodidact as he figured out how to do many things on his own. In his free time, he spent it with his family and listening to music which he had a love for. Some of the most valued and notable traits he possessed was his witty sense of humor, his optimistic view in finding a solution to any problem, and his selfless and infinite love for his family. Even in his final hours as he did throughout his life, he would laugh, smile, and make jokes through his own sorrow if it meant protecting his family. He is survived by the mother of his children, Jeanne Braun, his 6 children Michelle, Julie, Eddie, Billy, Laura, and Steven, and his 11 grandchildren. A service will be held to honor and celebrate his life. Family and friends are welcome to come support the family, and share fond memories and stories of our beloved father and papa. Services will be held at LIC Cremation Service in Saint James, NY on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass has yet to be determined.
