Charles W. O’Neill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and a cherished friend to so many. He passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on September 23, 2026, surrounded by family, after a battle with small cell lung cancer.
Charlie was a kind and caring man who was honest, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. His generosity, warmth, and empathy touched the lives of many.
His life was defined by his love for his family, friends, and fishing. Fishing was more than a pastime for him. Throughout his life he spent countless hours on the water, enjoying the outdoors, and creating memories with the people he cared about most. He enjoyed helping others discover the joy of fishing, especially his two sons.
In lieu of flowers, Charlie would like nothing more than to have his love of fishing continue through the next generation. One meaningful way to honor his memory is by giving children the opportunity to experience the joys of fishing and time spent making memories on the water.
Please look for your local “take a kid fishing” programs. Donating locally will reach children across a larger area. We thank you for your part in keeping Charlie’s passion for fishing alive through the next generation.
We find comfort knowing that he is once again united with the family and friends that passed before him.
Charlie, we love you, we miss you dearly, and we will forever carry your memory with us.
Love,
Debbie, Charlie, and Justin
