We lost an amazing and beautiful woman way to soon. Barbara Ann Sharp, proudly Brooklyn born and raised on February 23rd 1939, was strong, proud, gentle and caring. Graduating college in her 60s after raising five children, three stepchildren and many grandchildren.

Survived and loved by her sons Mark Belmont and Edward Hughes, her daughter Barbara Hughes, daughter in-laws Christine, Kimberly, and Jean Belmont, with her step children Doreen and Gerald Hughes. In addition to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Barbara touched everyone she met in the most memorable of ways. While her life wasn't always easy, she affectionately told me "it was a good life". That she was proud and happy. Our beautiful mother passed peacefully from this world, surrounded by her loved ones, and in my arms at 9:20AM on April 14th at 82 years old. She will never be forgotten.
