Stephen Joi Hunter; but many knew him as “Kentucky” (KT for short). To me, he was simply “Pooh”. A vibrant, silly, affectionate, musically inclined, southern hospitable, loving soul and Father of 4. A man of versatility; he cooked with soul, he rapped and sang to countless beats created by his on hands. Humor was Stephen’s secret weapon, he could illuminate any room with his goofy laugh and infectious smile. He knew he wasn’t perfect but in his words “my mistakes make me legendary”. Pooh” was indeed a legendary man. Unfortunately, his legendary smile faded Wednesday morning October 7th, 2020. Stephen Joi leaves behind four beautiful kids that emulate his spirit; Damareus Hunter, Dejanae Hunter, Genesis Hunter & Jesiah Hunter. As well as his eldest brother Chris, youngest brother Andy, family, loved ones and the love of his life, Rebecca Austin. Stephen never said goodbye, but rather “in a minute “. Stephen Joi Hunter will be missed immensely. We love you, infinity and beyond!
