Obituary for Heather Ann Bennett

Heather Ann Bennett (Miller) passed away peacefully with family and friends at her side on 2/20/2024 after fighting a long illness like the warrior she has always been.

Heather was a devoted Wife to Husband Joseph Bennett, devoted Mother to three children, Cheyenne Briordy, Isabella Bennett, Josephine Bennett and devoted Grandmother to Jaelynn and Nylah Briordy.

Predeceased by her father Timothy Clinton Miller, Grandparents James (Grandpa) and Madeline Smith (Nani), Cousin Raymond Langert, Aunt Josephine Sauer.

Survived by many, including her loving Mother, Regina Smith. Forever bonded  twin brother Alex Miller, and sister Alison VanDenBurgh (Steve & children).

Cherished daugher-in-law and friend to Eileen Zeni and cherished in-law to all of the Zeni family.
Loving niece to James Smith (Doria, Ryan, Kevin and Jamie), Judith Smith (Jarryd Langert), Linda Smith-Pepe (Frank, Sean, Randy, Nicole and Shannon).
Along with many other Aunt, Uncles and Cousins as well as many others who will forever call Heather friend.

Heather should be remembered as someone who lived her life with kindness and compassion which is what prompted Heather to earn a Bachelor Degree in pursuit of her Master Degree in Psychology focusing on children with special needs. Heather consistently searched for ways to make the world a better place. All that know her have the understanding that her sheer existence in this world is what helped to give it light. And therefore, although she has moved on to the next phase of her existence, in heaven with those that have passed before, her light does not diminish, it forever remains for us all to see and to guide us to be better people with Heather as the example of goodness. She would like all to remember her when you smell the sweet spring air and the fragrance of flowers.
At Heather's request, a private cremation will be conducted, and in her memory,  feel free to plant a lilac bush or any fragrant flowering plant or tree in her honor. This will remind us all of the beauty and sweetness of Heather.

In lieu of flowers, Heather asks that donations be made in memory of her and in honor of her daughter Isabella to:
